In short
Eight UK agencies that list construction or the built environment as a core specialism: Beach Marketing, Built for Marketing, Construction Marketing Experts, Fabrick, Market Maestro, Pauley Creative, Solvi Digital and We Are SMC. They are listed alphabetically, not ranked, using only what each agency says on its own website. The biggest difference between them is who they mainly serve: contractors, or building products manufacturers and merchants. Check that first, then judge any agency on construction proof, procurement knowledge, reporting, ownership and price.
If you are looking for a marketing agency that understands construction, the good news is that the UK has several specialists. The harder part is telling them apart, because almost every agency website says it understands the sector.
This guide lists eight UK agencies that put construction or the built environment at the centre of what they do. Before you read on, one thing to declare: I run We Are SMC, which is one of the eight. We have held ourselves to the same criteria and format as everyone else, and listed all eight alphabetically rather than ranking them.
If you are still working out what construction marketing should include before you speak to anyone, start with our page on construction marketing services, then come back here.
How we chose the agencies on this list
To be included, an agency had to:
- Be UK-based.
- State construction or the built environment as a core specialism on its own website, not one sector in a long list.
- Show construction work, clients or case studies on its website.
Every detail below comes from each agency’s own website, checked in September 2026. What we did not do:
- Rank them. We have not audited their results, so any ranking would be opinion dressed up as fact.
- Rate their quality or verify their claims. Where an agency describes itself, we say so.
- Take payment. Nobody paid to be included, and there are no affiliate links.
Agencies we looked at but could not verify from their own website at the time of writing, or that list construction as one sector among many, are not included. If you run a UK construction marketing agency and think you meet the criteria, get in touch and we will check.

The agencies in more detail
Beach Marketing
Beach Marketing describes itself as a B2B construction marketing agency, with offices in Northampton, Milton Keynes and London, and also works in manufacturing. Its construction page lists builders’ merchants and suppliers, contractors and subcontractors, property developers, civil engineering firms and infrastructure developers among the businesses it works with. Services include marketing strategy, digital marketing, branding, content, website design, and branded environments and exhibitions, and the site features construction case studies.
Worth a look if trade shows, exhibitions and brand presence are a big part of how you reach buyers.
Built for Marketing
Built for Marketing calls itself a business-led consultancy rather than an agency, specialising in construction, building products and the built environment. It is headquartered in Yalding, Kent, with a physical footprint in the UK, Germany, Spain and Portugal. It works with investors, shareholders, chief executives and business owners, and its services run from strategy, positioning and market research to PR, technical content and CPDs, digital campaigns and sales integration.
Worth a look if you want senior strategic input, or you sell into European markets as well as the UK.
Construction Marketing Experts
Construction Marketing Experts describes itself as a multi-award-winning construction marketing consultancy. It lists an office on the Wirral and a registered address in Lichfield. Services include marketing strategy, brand positioning, PR and trade media, design, digital content and social media, email campaigns, and telemarketing and lead nurturing. Its website features case studies with named contractor and fit-out clients.
Worth a look if trade PR and direct outreach to prospects are priorities for you.
constructionmarketingexperts.co.uk
Fabrick
Fabrick is based in Maidstone, Kent, and says it has been shaping stories and strategies for the built environment for over 40 years, with a team of more than 25 people in house. Clients and case studies shown on its website include building products brands, contractors and trade associations. Services include strategy, brand, PR and media relations, social media, SEO, and website design and build.
Worth a look if PR and media relations matter to you as much as digital, and you want a large in-house team with a long history in the sector.
Market Maestro
Market Maestro describes itself as the UK’s LinkedIn authority agency for construction companies, and says it works only in construction. It aims its work at procurement teams, framework managers and Tier 1 supply chains, for contractors, subcontractors and housebuilders across disciplines from civil engineering and groundworks to M&E, fit-out and piling. Services include LinkedIn outreach and profile management, SEO, Google Ads, websites, email and sales materials. It publishes its prices and named case studies on its website.
Worth a look if LinkedIn visibility with procurement and supply chain teams is your main gap.
Pauley Creative
Pauley Creative is based in Woburn, Bedfordshire, and says it works best with three types of construction business: building product manufacturers, specialist building contractors with a turnover of £5m to £25m, and builders’ merchants and materials distributors. Services include construction research, marketing strategy, websites and tools, lead generation and nurturing, content, CPDs, PR, SEO, paid media and training. Its website shows work for well-known building products brands.
Worth a look if you are a building products manufacturer or merchant, or a specialist contractor in its stated turnover band.
Solvi Digital
Solvi Digital lists a London address and says it works exclusively with construction, manufacturing and industrial businesses. On its construction page it names main contractors, housebuilders, civil engineers and construction suppliers among the firms it helps. Services include marketing strategy, websites, SEO, paid advertising, social media, email, branding, and video and photography.
Worth a look if you want a digital-led team covering the website, search and paid channels together.
We Are SMC
We Are SMC is based in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, and works only with construction and trades businesses. For civils and construction firms, our Preferred Contractor Programme is £2,500 + VAT a month on a 12-month minimum term with a six month break clause tied to specific deliverables, covering a strategy day, a website built for procurement, a LinkedIn authority programme for directors, case studies, a CRM and opportunity tracker, targeted Google and LinkedIn advertising, and a company film. For PKB Civils, the programme attributed more than £200k of revenue in its first 12 months.
Worth a look if you are a contractor who wants strategy, credibility and the business-development pipeline built as one system. Probably not the right fit if you only need one channel, cannot commit to 12 months, or your prequalification is not yet in place.
Construction marketing services
Contractors or building products brands? Check this first
The biggest difference between these agencies is not size or services. It is who they mainly work for.
Several construction marketing agencies do most of their work for building products manufacturers and merchants. That is a different job: reaching architects and specifiers, getting products specified, supporting distributors and running CPDs.
A contractor needs something else: credentials that pass prequalification, case studies written for tender evaluators, visibility with clients, framework managers and main contractors’ supply chain teams, and a business-development pipeline that runs through long tender cycles.
Plenty of agencies do both well. Just ask to see work for businesses like yours, not only well-known product brands.
How to choose between them
Shortlist two or three, then ask every one of them the same questions:
- Can you show a client like us, with numbers? And can we phone them?
- How would you find out why our existing clients choose us? In my experience, the best positioning for a contractor comes from understanding why current clients already pick you over the competition. An agency that skips this question will write generic copy.
- Do you understand prequalification and procurement? Ask how they would handle the Common Assessment Standard, case studies for evaluators and approved supplier lists.
- What will you report on each month? Look for shortlists, tenders won and revenue you can attribute, not only clicks.
- Who owns the website, content and data if we leave? It should be you.
- What is the total monthly cost, including ad spend, and what is the notice period?
- Will you work alongside our in-house team? If you have a marketing manager, a good agency adds strategy and specialist skills rather than replacing them.

What construction marketing agencies cost
Prices vary with scope and how much the agency does for you. As a guide:
- A freelancer running one channel: usually a few hundred pounds a month.
- A generalist agency retainer: typically £1,000 to £3,000 a month.
- A specialist construction partnership joining up strategy, website, content, ads and CRM: usually from around £1,500 a month.
Ad spend sits on top of any fee. Some agencies on this list publish their prices; for the rest, ask for a written quote so you can compare like for like. There is a fuller breakdown in marketing agency costs for construction companies.
Before you speak to any agency
An agency can only build on what is already there. Make sure your prequalification is current, you know which clients and frameworks you want to win, and someone in the business owns the relationship. Our guides to marketing for construction and construction tender marketing will help you walk into those conversations knowing what good looks like.
Frequently asked questions
- How did you choose the agencies on this list?
- Each agency had to be UK-based, state construction or the built environment as a core specialism on its own website rather than one sector among many, and show construction work, clients or case studies. We checked every detail against the agency's own website in September 2026. We did not rank them, rate their quality or verify their results, and nobody paid to be included.
- Why is We Are SMC on its own list?
- Because we are one of the UK agencies that specialise in construction, and leaving ourselves out would make the list less complete, not more honest. We have held ourselves to the same criteria and the same format as everyone else, listed alphabetically, and said plainly who we are and are not the right fit for.
- How much does a construction marketing agency cost in the UK?
- A freelancer running one channel is usually a few hundred pounds a month. Generalist retainers typically run from around £1,000 to £3,000 a month, and a specialist construction partnership covering strategy, website, content, ads and CRM usually starts from around £1,500 a month, plus ad spend. Some agencies publish prices on their websites; ask the rest for a written quote.
- Should a contractor use an agency that mainly works with building products brands?
- It can work, but check first. Marketing a building product to specifiers and merchants is a different job from helping a contractor win tenders and get onto approved supplier lists. Ask for work with contractors like you, and ask how they would handle prequalification, case studies for evaluators and business development with main contractors or clients.
- What should I ask a construction marketing agency before signing?
- Ask for a contractor client you can phone and the numbers behind their results. Ask how they would find out why your existing clients choose you. Ask what they report on each month, who owns the website, content and data if you leave, and the total monthly cost including ad spend and the notice period.
